Ladies and gentlemen, this is nis nif nuh nyah nyuh
This next poem examines some of the er, tensions and conflicts that were rife in Russian classical music in the first half of the twentieth century.
Stravinsky and Prokofiev went for a walk one day
Prokofiev and Stravinsky just got in each other's way
Stravinsky pushed Prokofiev and Prokofiev pushed back
Both men fell down and on the ground there's now a nice blue plaque
Stravinsky and Prokofiev stood up and began to walk
And Prokofiev and Stravinsky did not begin to talk
Stravinsky whistled a tune that Prokofiev had written
Prokofiev showed Stravinsky the fist inside his mitten
